Do not try stunts like brushing teeth with baking soda, because this only irreversibly abrades the surface of your teeth.
For people who brush their teeth more often, the bristles may begin to wear out sooner than expected. If yours does not and your bristles tend to wear out quickly, ask your dentist to show you the proper pressure you should be using while brushing your teeth.
On April 13,2006 my easy street life took a turn I never expected. My High School sweetheart and husband of 33 years died. Jimmy was just 56. I was shocked and I was heartbroken, but "the business" of widowhood, the living on my own was an eye-opener. I had to figure out and deal with all the boring tasks I had shrewdly managed to avoid while cozily married. I began this blog, Poor Widow Me to chronicle my angst and mishaps. I wanted readers to laugh along with me that finally at 55 years old with a grown son and daughter and little granddaughter, I was forced to grow up. Finding the funny even in widowhood is natural for me. I've been a humor writer for over two decades published in the New York Times, Newsday, The Hartford Courant and I've had weekly columns in at least a dozen publications.
